I’ve decided not to do drum corps due to the financial and time obligations, but mostly the financial part. I’ve decided to only buy the necessities and save the rest. I want to have my own (newer) car on my birthday, so I will strive for that (I also want one of the new macbook thingies).

I’m shooting for around $3000 + a $4000 loan from the credit union (with my dad cosigning) for a car.

It’s just been work and lack of going to class.

I went to the Fever tryouts last
Sunday; going to the next camp too (woo!). I hope I get to play again.

On another note, I'm doing the cell phone thing again. If you know me,
you'd know that I like the cool phones, lol. I got a black Motorola Razr;
it's so thin, I love it. Anthony seems to love it too, since he bought one
also.

I got a flat tire today (yesterday, since it is now 12:36). The cause: a
spoon. It wasn't just any spoon, it was an evil spoon....

Well not really….

The only thing I don’t like about work is getting carts; why can’t people put them in the designated cart cage thing?!

Well, after my first three months, I may move to full time (along with a pay increase). I don’t want to stay in the bottom for long and it’s easy to move up at Lowe’s. I may start doing their flooring training, or maybe receiving, or even appliances.... The human resource manager started out as a cashier and in two years, she ended up where she is. Same with the store manager; it took him five years to be qualified for his position.

I wouldn’t mind getting paid more than my dad, lol.

Got my first check today.

It wasn’t my fault.

Light turned yellow, so I was slowing down and when I came to a full stop, I hear some screeching, I look in the mirror and next thing I know, bump.

It wasn’t bad, the guy was going like 20 when the wheels of his trailer hit me and it on hit the side of the bumper (I was in my dad’s car…lucky me ;P). So the bumper is just a little mess up on the side, the body is ok though.

My first accident and it’s only a little one….damn.

At least I didn’t drive my car into the canal……heheheh.

Last night, after I picked up Tabitha, we were driving down California Street in Winton towards Santa Fe and this guy in a black SUV pulls out in front of me; he didn’t make me slam on my brakes but I had to slow down. He was weaving and going slow so me and Tabitha thought the obvious, he was drunk. I was following him closely, I was a good 20 feet behind him going 25 mph. I was hoping he wouldn’t turn down Winton Way but he did. He turned in the slow lane and I turned into the fast lane and I passed him. The thing is I was messing around the whole time and I floored it when I passed him (oh yeah, I was in my dad’s car). So we sped right passed him and he started speeding up. He went passed us and leaned out the window, it looked like he was just looking at me, I was laughing at something, it might have been him, I don’t remember. Then he slowed down and I went pass, he passed us up again. Tabitha said he mouthed “fuck you” or something like that and that he flipped us off the second time he passed us. I was like “what the fuck was that for?” So he’s driving all fast and I’m going like 45-50, we get passed the high school, and he slows down. I passed him and proceeded on my way, to the red light at Bellevue. I was in the left turn lane and here he comes driving by all slow and he throws something out his window. I’m said “what was that?” but I was thinking “Oh fuck no, he did not just try to break my window.” I didn’t do anything since we were late and he didn’t do any damage. He parks in the apartments across from jack in the box, like he’s waiting for me to come over there. I’m not stupid, I’m not gonna mess with a drunk Mexican guy but I was pissed. I wasn’t thinking about it but I should have had Tabitha call the cops on his dumb ass.

Turns out, he scratched the window. It sounded like he threw a rock, but who keeps a rock in the car…..

First day at my new job.

For those who don’t know, I have a job….What is so great about that, you say? Well, for one, it’s not at a fast-food place, and for…two…, it’s more that minimum wage (woo $8.02 an hour!). My title is Loader, and I do what it says. I didn’t actually do any work today, though. Today was orientation, and tomorrow is some more, and then on Friday, it’s training time. I get to wear a red vest and it has my name on it.

WoW.

It would be interesting to be a computer tech support person....

Tech Support: "What operating system are you using?"
Customer: "I'm using Windows 98 and NT 4.0."
Tech Support: "Ok, I'm the Mac tech. The Windows tech is gone,
but I can try to help you."
Customer: "Ok, what should I do? I've reformatted the hard drive
and have fresh installs of both operating systems."
Tech Support: "Sir, have you put any cheese or mustard in your a
drive?"
Customer: "What? Did you just ask me if I put cheese or mustard
in my floppy drive?"
Tech Support: "Yeah, we've had that happen a lot lately."
Customer: (staring blankly at roommate, who was laughing
uncontrollably on the floor) "I think I'll wait for the PC tech to get
